Meadow
Ornamental grasses, flowering bulbs, and California native grasses and perennials provide feathery texture and graceful movement to the meadow as they sway in the breeze. The mixture of cool and warm season grasses and flowers with different bloom seasons ensure year-round beauty and visual interest in the meadow. The plantings here demonstrate a drought-tolerant alternative to the traditional lawn. Click here to download an inventory list of plants in the meadow from October 2007.

| In November of 2008, the Davis Sunrise Rotary Club built a
path through the meadow that connects the south side to the north side of the gardens. |
